Restaurant LMS Comparison Guide
Generic corporate LMS tools often break on restaurant reality: rotating shifts, hiring surges, short attention windows, station permissions, and content that changes weekly when menus move.
Compare mobile experience first. If a lesson hates portrait mode or needs a desk, it will die on the line.
Compare assessment integrity. Can you prevent obvious click through, randomize pools, and require manager demos where needed.
Compare certification and compliance mechanics: expirations, auto reassign after policy edits, audit exports, and multi language needs if you have them.
Compare manager visibility without extra BI work. You want overdue cohorts, location comparisons, and remediation assignment in a few clicks.
Finally compare linkage. Does the LMS reference the same SOP ID the task system checks tonight.
Restaurant Codex bundles LMS with Knowledge Base and Operations on purpose, described in Help Center welcome material. If you are building a procurement matrix, weight linkage heavier than generic content libraries you will never use.
